PDA stuff: How to get skype working wireless with ActiveSync 3.7

First, uninstall both activesync and skype from your PC and reboot your PC and your PDA.

Keep the pda in the cradle

Now install ActiveSync 4.2 NOT any other (beta) versions

Now install Skype 2.1 (for ipaq 2215 and 2210 PDA's, install the version for the ipaq 3700 series)

Now uninstall ActiveSync 4.2  and re-install version 3.7 which is quite robust NOT 3.8 which is not so stable

Re-boot and Bob's your uncle. (This took me 2 - 3 days to work out but you can do it in minutes - good luck!!)
